Vivo is preparing to launch the much-anticipated Vivo X300, a flagship smartphone that will likely follow the X series’ legacy of excellence in mobile photography and sleek design. Scheduled for release in late 2025, the X300 is expected to raise the bar in computational photography, AI integration, and display technology. With the X90 and X100 series already solidifying Vivo’s position in the premium category, the X300 could mark a generational leap in hardware and software fusion.

At the heart of the Vivo X300 is expected to be the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 or Qualcomm’s next-gen Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, depending on region and variant. Vivo has previously partnered with both chipmakers for its flagships. The chip will be paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB or 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage, making the X300 a true flagship for power users, gamers, and creators alike.

One of the biggest highlights of the Vivo X300 will undoubtedly be its camera system, developed in collaboration with ZEISS. Rumors suggest a custom 1-inch Sony LYT sensor for the main camera, capable of capturing professional-grade detail and dynamic range. The phone is also likely to feature a periscope telephoto lens with up to 6x optical zoom, a high-resolution ultra-wide sensor, and advanced AI stabilization for both photography and videography. Features like real-time object tracking, portrait relighting, and cinematic bokeh are also expected to be part of the package.

The display on the Vivo X300 will feature a 6.78-inch QHD+ AMOLED panel with 144Hz refresh rate, peak brightness above 3,000 nits, and support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. The panel will likely be curved with extremely slim bezels, providing an immersive visual experience. Vivo might also introduce a new pixel-level dimming technology to further improve battery efficiency and eye comfort during long viewing sessions.

Battery performance will remain a top priority. The Vivo X300 is expected to house a 5,400mAh battery supported by 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging. The device may also support reverse wireless charging, enabling it to power up other accessories. Vivo’s battery health engine and intelligent charging algorithms will work to reduce degradation over time, promising longer battery life even after hundreds of charging cycles.

On the software side, the X300 will likely debut with Funtouch OS 15 (based on Android 15) in India, and OriginOS for China. Vivo is reportedly focusing on deep system optimization, AI-assisted resource management, smarter UI animations, and on-device AI models to power photography, translation, and voice control features without relying on cloud processing.

In terms of pricing, the Vivo X300 is expected to start around ₹79,999 in India for the base variant, and could go up to ₹94,999 for the top-end model with higher RAM and storage. The phone will likely be available through Vivo’s official stores, Flipkart, Amazon, and leading offline retail chains soon after its global debut, which is expected around November or December 2025.
